I have serious concerns about New Zealand’s Labour government, writes Alex Holland

As a distraction from their “achievements” over the last 6 years, “Labour is attacking the person rather than playing the ball.”

Labour promoted the “fees-free” education policy, but it fell short of expectations, and education outcomes have worsened.

Taxation policies, economic decisions, and healthcare initiatives have all raised doubts. The Government’s complete lack of transparency and accountability is troubling especially with controversial policies like co-governance, Three Waters, and the Maori Health Authority. 
The list is long, and there is more to come. But the Labour government’s approach to governance has not been in the best interest of New Zealanders, and causes one to worry about the wider impact on our society and economy.
